What have you been up to?

It has been a very exciting time for me in Singapore, where I am CFO of Mandai Park Holdings, which owns Wildlife Reserve Singapore.

What energizes you?

The team of highly passionate individuals with whom I have the privilege to work, who design and build new attractions in the Mandai precinct as we aspire to present Mandai as a unique destination on the world map. Wildlife Reserves Singapore, which operates the parks Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari, and Jurong Bird, continues to inspire local people and tourists alike with new offerings, and with its conservation efforts and wildlife care, and its strong advocacy for biodiversity through its core beliefs of “Do good, do well and do right.”

What are you most passionate about?

I share the team’s passion—their aspiration to make a difference is amazing, given how small Singapore is (and even smaller for an organization like ours). With global warming and climate change, it is more crucial than ever for the world to come together collectively as one voice.

Who or what has influenced you the most and in what way?

Robert Swan said: “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.”

What makes you most proud about being part of the Kearney community? Why?

Kearney is about people, and its ability to make a difference to clients’ businesses in a positive way. The people, past and present, whom I got to know, and learn from, the interactions and exchanges we had, truly create a unique and memorable part of my Kearney journey. I actually joined Kearney twice—having left the firm in 2004, after eight years, when I was controller for Southeast Asia and India, I rejoined in 2014, as finance director for Asia Pacific.

What impact did Kearney have on your career?

As I reflect on my career journey, the interesting common element is the strong culture of caring for the people and the community we serve along with a sense of purpose as we all strive for the best in a difficult and challenging environment—which in return is translated into organizational success. I am grateful to be part of each amazing journey.

Name one thing you enjoy doing in your spare time.

Volunteering for community-based programs. This is very meaningful for me—it enriches me and provides the impetus for me to contribute in a meaningful way.

What is your motto in life?

It’s a simple one. Life is a journey: enjoy every moment and give our very best whenever we can! I am grateful for all the opportunities that come my way.
