Rob has built his career around helping clients in multiple industries come to grips with the demands of advancing technologies and digitization—and much more. From digital transformation and telecoms turnaround programs to national and government transformation strategies, Rob has a proven record of advising senior leaders, and getting results.

Being able to make a real difference is a major plus point. “Seeing something amazing like a developing country being able to leapfrog from 2G to 4G, and knowing I made my own contribution to that, is just fantastic.”

And working with a like-minded team is equally important. “I know this might sound like the obvious thing to say, but at Kearney, you have a group of people who are pragmatic, down to earth, collaborative, and genuinely trying to do the right thing. It’s a great feeling to go into a client meeting with colleagues who are highly driven and share the same values.”

As for the future, Rob’s keen to stay close to the changes brought about by new technologies. “I’ve been involved in telecoms since the mobile operators first launched and if you think about the progression from 2G to 3G, 4G, and now 5G, for example, it shows just what can be achieved in a very short time. I can’t wait to see what’s next, in telco and beyond.”
