For the sixth straight year, Working Mother magazine named Kearney one of the Top 100 companies for working moms.

The firm’s sixth consecutive year being honored by Working Mother as a top workplace for moms is a nod to the progress the firm has made—and a reminder of the work that remains to be done.

Kearney was officially named to Working Mother’s 2018 Top 100 list on September 25. The firm was first honored with this award in 2013, and it has received the honor every year since. Working Mother considers more than 400 factors in determining the top 100, from hard data about company statistics about gender diversity to paid leave policies, benefits, childcare, advancement programs, and flexibility programs.

Kearney’s diversity and inclusion program is centered around four aspirations: 50-50 gender balance in hiring at the analyst and associate level; increased diversity representation in the partnership and in leadership roles; enhanced inclusion in day-to-day activities; and continued recognition by elite sources like Working Mother.

Some of the firm’s efforts to improve work experiences for all employees include Success with Flex, which offers alternate work schedules and rotational roles, and Pathway for Parents, which offers partially paid leave and family-friendly transition roles to facilitate primary caregivers’ return to work following birth or adoption of a child.

In the past year, the firm also revamped its global Sponsorship Program, which pairs emerging leaders with a senior leader to sponsor them and propel their advancement at the firm. Roughly 50 women participated this year. Kearney’s goal is to create an environment where support mechanisms are in place that enable all employees to bring their whole selves to work and to have what they need to grow to be at their best.
