How long have you been with the firm and how did you end up with Kearney?

I joined Kearney in September 2018 following the completion of my MBA at the Ivey Business School. I joined Kearney because of the entrepreneurial spirit. During my MBA I spent my final semester in the Western Accelerator working on a start up with two classmates. Once I had a taste of the entrepreneurial life, I knew I wanted to work for a company that would foster a similar culture. Kearney was it!

How did you come to be in Toronto?

My family relocated from Montreal to Toronto when I was young. Growing up as a Moroccan Italian in Toronto gave me a deep appreciation for the diversity and inclusion of our city. I knew I wanted to eventually raise a family in this positive environment, so choosing the Toronto office was an easy decision.

What do you enjoy about Toronto?

There is no shortage of things to love about Toronto, be it our world class dining, arts or entertainment. I live in the West end, and what I like most is the easy access to green space. I love going for walks along the Humber River and watching the salmon jump upstream in the fall.

How would you describe your office’s culture and atmosphere?

The Toronto office is truly a magical place. It is a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. Our team is extremely diverse, and we recognize that our strength lies in that diversity. Our attendance on Fridays is very high, as we all enjoy seeing each other and catching up. Everyone feels at home in our office!

Tell us your favorite office event or office-related memory.

The Toronto team loves going out for Karaoke nights in the city. We have had many late nights singing our hearts out and bonding over our favorite go-to karaoke songs; none of us are very good singers, but we give it our all!

What is the one thing you would like candidates to know as they choose their home office?

I would encourage candidates to think not only about the city they want to be in, but the culture they want to experience in their home office. Every office at Kearney is unique and special in its own way; finding a group that aligns with their personal values will help them make the most of their Kearney experience!
